Ultimate Male Theraphosids (Araneae, Mygalomorphae, Theraphosidae) Lacking Tibial Apophyses

The following is a current listing of the theraphosid taxa in which ultimate males do not possess tibial apophyses or of taxa that have one or more anomalous species within a taxon lacking tibial apophyses. Anomalous male variants can be found within any theraphosid taxa and the below list indicates taxa in which ultimate males consistently lack tibial apophyses. (Editor's Note: This article was published in early 2005 and may not currently be up-to-date.)
